The Blazing Bassoons return with a fun and varied program of music for 5-10 bassoons that ranges from a Scott Joplin concert waltz to Stevie Wonder's "Superstition," from the classic "The House of the Rising Sun" to a video game banger, and from Lindsey Glaccum's musical remembrance of a historic Appalachian labor uprising to P.I. Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with audience participation—there's something for everyone! The Blazing Bassoons are members of the App State Bassoon Studio in the Hayes School of Music, studying with Dr. David Wells. The concert is free and open to the public, with no ticket needed.
