Students interested in becoming physicians are invited to attend "From GWS to Medicine" with Dr. Brandi Adams at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, via Zoom. Dr. Adams, an OB/GYN with Atrium Health in Charlotte, will discuss her journey from earning an undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where she developed a passion for women’s empowerment and women’s health, to her career in medicine. The virtual session will provide an opportunity to learn about educational and professional pathways in healthcare, particularly for students interested in serving women's health needs.
