In Transit, this year’s Senior Graphic Design Exhibition, explores the uncertainty, challenges, and possibilities of navigating the transition from design education into creative careers. Throughout their time in the Graphic Design program, this cohort has continually evolved—questioning, researching, experimenting, and refining their ideas and approaches to creative practice. The exhibition marks a pivotal moment of reflection and discovery, as each student begins to envision their professional trajectory and recognize their agency in shaping the path ahead. Rather than presenting graduation as a final destination, In Transit celebrates the ongoing process of becoming a designer. Open to students, faculty, families, and the broader community, the exhibition invites visitors to meet the emerging designers, engage with their capstone projects, and experience the diverse perspectives, creative investigations, and evolving practices that define this graduating cohort. Exhibition is on view December 3rd-10th in Wey Hall 317. Closing reception is December 10th from 5-7pm, all are welcome.
