Jordan LeVan, founder of Fighting for My Voice, is offering a special presentation for App State students and others regarding Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). LeVan will share his journey of resilience and hope and his goal of working toward a world where no voice is left unheard. Labeled nonverbal until age 8, LeVan's work is deeply rooted in his lived experience with CAS. Today, he has turned that experience into a career dedicated to helping children and families fight for their voice, founding Fighting For My Voice LLC, which provides IEP advocacy, parent coaching, and consultations to caregivers. He is also the founder and president of The Apraxia Foundation and co-founder of Camp BEE, a neurodiversity-affirming camp for children with apraxia held in Michigan and New Jersey.
