Henna Beyond Hands is an informational and cultural event designed to educate attendees about the significance of henna in South Asian culture and its importance in traditions, celebrations, and self-expression. The event will explore the history and cultural meaning behind henna while providing an interactive experience for students to learn and engage with South Asian traditions. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional snacks, music, and fashion while watching live henna demonstrations and receiving henna designs themselves. Through a combination of education, cultural experiences, and community engagement, Henna Beyond Hands aims to celebrate South Asian heritage, encourage cultural appreciation, and create a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to learn about and experience the beauty of South Asian culture.
