Stop by the International Hallway of Plemmons Student Union, outside the bookstore entrance, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to meet representatives from Appalachian State University's Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies (GWS) program. Learn about the GWS major, discover how students apply their academic learning through community engagement and service, and explore how GWS can complement a wide range of career paths, including healthcare, museums and cultural institutions, therapy, law, politics, nonprofit organizations, and education. The tabling session will also highlight the work of the GWS program, the Women's Center, and the LGBTQ+ Center and their efforts to support and engage the campus community.
